Here are the key factors to keep in mind today for Gold trades:

  • Australian AiG Performance of Construction Index: The AiG Performance of Construction Index was reported at 51.9 for September. Forex traders can compare this to the 53.8 which was reported in August.
  • British BRC Shop Price Index: The BRC Shop Price Index plunged 1.9% in September annualized which forex traders can compare to the 1.4% drop reported in August.
  • Japanese Official Reserve Assets: Official Reserve Assets in Japan rose to $1,248.9 billion in September. Forex traders can compare this to the Official Reserve Assets of $1,244.2 billion which were reported in August.
  • Japanese Coincident Index and Leading Index: The Coincident Index is expected to come in at 112.3 for August and the Leading Index is expected at 103.4. Forex traders can compare this to the Coincident Index of 113.1 and the Leading Index of 105.0 which were reported in July.
  • German Industrial Production: German Industrial Production is expected to increase by 0.2% in August monthly and by 3.3% annualized. Forex traders can compare this to July’s German Industrial Production which rose 0.7% monthly and 0.5% annualized.
  • British Industrial Production and Manufacturing Production: Industrial Production is expected to increase by 0.3% in August monthly and by 1.2% annualized. Forex traders can compare this to the 0.4% contraction in Industrial Production which was reported in July and to the annualized increase of 0.8%. Manufacturing Production is expected to increase by 0.3% in August monthly and to decrease by 0.2% annualized. Forex traders can compare this to the 0.8% contraction in Manufacturing Production which was reported in July and to the annualized decrease of 0.5%.
  • Canadian Building Permits: Building Permits in Canada are expected to increase by 0.3% in August monthly. Forex traders can compare this to the decrease of 0.6% in Building Permits which was reported in July.
