Hello World! This is actually my first post ever. I couldn’t help myself but to take the infamous WordPress first post which I saw on my friend’s screen, an avid WP blogger and independent financial contributor, several times. My name is Mehmed and I am from Batman, Turkey. I am a 22 year old student at the Batman University where I currently work on my engineering degree. I stumbled into forex trading roughly three years ago and can thank the typical university lifestyle for it. As most other students, I am struggling to make it through university in order to earn my degree and hopefully have a much easier life, financially speaking, moving forward.

I would say that I am fairly new to trading as I am doing it less than two hours per day over the past three years. In that time I have learned a lot and being a native of Batman, the best comparison I can make to my friends is to compare forex trading to the history of Batman. Allow me to give you a very quick overview and you will see how it relates to forex trading. Until 1957, Batman was a village named Iluh and had a population of roughly 3,000. I like to compare this to your very first bank account and deposit. Small, insignificant at the time with a lack of direction.

Sometime in the 1940’s, oils was discovered and as you can imagine a boom in the region started. Today Turkey’s largest oil field, the Bati Raman oil field is located just outside of Batman. The inflow of workers resulted in a rapid build-up and one story village buildings were replaced by multi-story apartment buildings in order to accommodate the new arrivals seeking a better life. This is like my discovery of forex trading. All of the sudden there was plenty of opportunity for my, coincidentally, $3,000 which I saved up over the years from various part-time jobs and gifts made to me. It allowed me to shift my focus away from just having money in the bank and into bigger things.

The forex market was a natural choice for this. It is the only market I researched where you can start with such a small amount and grow it over time with hard work. This is how Batman grew over the past seventy years. It took a lot of hard work in order to create this beautiful city. In 1990 it became the provincial capital of Batman Province. This is my next step, to make my forex trading at PaxForex my main source of income. I know I am probably two decades away from that which I think is great. Batman grew, and continues to grow, over the past seventy years and if I can get me forex account to become my primary source of income by the time I turn 45 I would be more than thrilled.

While it is important to have a long-term goal in mind, I also enjoy the journey. As Batman was growing thanks to its oil fields, pipelines were built in order to transport the oil. I think one of the most important ones is the one from Batman to Dortyol on the Mediterranean coast. You can compare this to the connections you make with other forex traders, analysts, portfolio managers, banks and brokers. Nothing can thrive on its own and if Batman would have not expanded and connected, all the oil would have remained in the ground and nobody would have benefited. The same is true for forex trading, it needs to serve a purpose and improve conditions around you.

Forex trading is conducted on your own, but you need to have connections which will ultimately improve your own trading results. You may share trading ideas or here about a different opinion on your own analysis. All of this is very important and help you become a better forex trader, just as the oil pipelines improved the life for many in Batman. My main forex pipeline is a friend I made during a seminar in Estonia and we have steadily expanded our friendship to the point where we will soon start a business partnership together. I think the topic of proper connections is not enough talked about when it comes to the success of forex traders.

As most of you who already trade forex know, there are good times and bad times when it comes to trading. It is never static and one-sided. Those who claim consistent profits are most likely not trading or hiding their real performance. It is important not to give up during those times as they are part of trading. Batman has a rainy seasons which usually last between March and May and it can cause heavy flooding of the Batman River as well as the Tigris River which flow through the city. This can and has in the past caused heavy damage to the Batman, but the city always rebuild and recovered. You can’t control nature and you can’t control events which happen around the world and impact your forex trading.

Those forex traders who can appreciate all aspects of trading and are not focused on profits, are those who I believe will enjoy the greatest amount of success. In order to help you make your first important connection in the forex market, please allow me to introduce you to my forex broker: PaxForex. Ever since I started to venture into forex, PaxForex has been my partner and I look forward to expand my overall dealings with them. As I mentioned earlier, my friend and I have decided to go into business together. We want to start a PAMM service as soon as this year. None of this would have been possible without making the right connections, trading at the right broker and in my case using history as a guide to what is possible. I allowed the history of my city inspire me to become a profitable forex broker!
