Welcome friends, I am Madhavaditya from Pimpri-Chinchwad in India. Together with our twin city Pune we build the core of the Pune Metropolitan Region and are a major industrial hub in Asia. I am turning 43 this year and started my post-college career as an industrial engineer right here my city. While I have always enjoyed my work, deep inside me I always dreamt of travelling around the world. My great passion is to travel by trains, ever since my parents took me on my first train ride from New Delhi to Mumbai. I was fascinated and we took a train trip at least twice per year. I have my fondest childhood memories on trains.

One of my biggest dreams has been to take my parents on the New Delhi-Mumbai route on board the Luxury Deccan Odyssey Train in the Presidential Suite. This is also known as the Indian Odyssey Journey. I am proud that I can finally realize this dream and surprise them with a ticket for a summer journey. This wouldn’t have been possible for me without the forex market and I will explain to you what I mean. I believe that you can make your dreams come true as well by using forex to unlock many journeys.

I have retired from my job as an industrial engineer last year which marked the first step of me becoming a full-time train traveler and forex trader. I had a rough journey through the forex market when I first started out over 24 years ago when I was still at university. My two roommates and I started together with small capital and big hopes. I will not go into details about how we struggled for profits as we learned to trade as I believe we all face different obstacles. What is important, is that we never gave up. I can tell you from experience that it is very hard and there will be times when you want to quit.

The great thing about my forex journey was that I was never alone. We supported each other, learned different strategies and part of the forex market and then combined them until we finally created a trading strategy which worked for us. After six years we managed an annual profit and over the next fifteen years we all started to build our trading portfolio through our strategy and a series of quarterly deposits. It is a big mistake to think about making withdrawals as you have to re-invest your profits until you create a strong portfolio. Think about a great CEO, like Meituan’s Xing Wang, who is not worried about profits but rather focuses on building a great company.

We had the same approach, we were not focused on making a withdrawal. We took our time and invested a lot of years into building a strong portfolio until the annual profits would be the same as our annual salaries. We achieved this three years ago and after that I focused on setting money aside for emergencies as I had plans to quit my job as soon as I reached a certain capital buffer in the bank as well as a certain portfolio size. Last year I accomplished this goal and felt comfortable about quitting my job and turning into a full-time trader as well as global, train travelling enthusiast.

My entire forex approach can be compared to a great train. You need to have a very strong engine in order to pull the train. My engine since I am 25 has been forex trading. By being patient, just as a train is comparably slowly moving through the countryside, I was able to add more carriages to my forex train. Each accomplishment was the result of hard and dedicated work, a great group of friends and a vision. Without a clear vision you are most likely to fail just like a train without a destination will never arrive where it is supposed to. Have a visions and then follow it, this may be the best advice I can give new forex traders besides to never quit.

Since I retired, I have been travelling the world by train and trading from different locations.
