Hi everyone, I am glad that you joined me for my strategy on how to use the forex market and earn a living. In case you were looking for a quick approach which will get you to retirement with a $500 portfolio within a year, I have to disappoint you. The reality is a bit more harsh, it requires a lot more time and more capital than you have probably planned for. Don’t be discouraged by the facts, embrace them and learn how to use it to your advantage. The sooner you start, the sooner you will get to the goal of financial freedom the same way I have and many others before and after me. My name is Lisa and I am from Rotorua in New Zealand.

I started learning forex over 15 years ago and started trading forex 10 years ago. As you can see it took me five years of learning before I felt comfortable to actually make a deposit. The time it will take you may be different, but my circumstances at that time allowed me to only devote roughly two hours to forex per week. I was working a full-time job, a part-time job and going through my divorce. I was 32 years young and my life changed completely, but looking back I view it as a reboot which allowed me to reinvent myself. I have learned a lot during those turbulent times and learning how to trade forex was one of them.

Following my divorce, I ended up working at an event management company which organized parties and evening events for corporate clients. Rotorua is known as a spa town thanks to plenty of geothermal areas. The unfortunate side effect is the Sulphur smell which is why many call it Sulphur City. Once you get past the smell of rotten eggs, it is a great place to relax and rejuvenate and many companies organize trips here in order to combine relaxation with work seminars. This is where my firm found its niche and how I was introduced to forex trading in the first place.

A forex broker held a weekend conference for its affiliates and we organized the evening events for them. While we attended the event, I learned quite a bit about the world of forex trading and the amount of affiliates which attended was rather big. I spend the next few weeks learning about different ways to turn forex into a profitable business and what intrigued me the most was the freedom one can achieve, the ease to get started and the availability of forex trading. Since the markets are open 24/5, forex can be easily worked into your day. I pitched the idea of forex related events to my team and we decided to give it a go.

The most important lesson I can share with anyone who wants to get involved in the forex market as an affiliate, signal provider or PAMM manager is that honesty is key. As long as you are honest with your traders, they will remain loyal to you. Losing is part of trading and those who hide this fact will end up with more losses than just capital. You can lie to new clients and attract them with false statements and hope, but this will crumble rather fast and they will head for the exits. Those who remain honest and tell them exactly what is going on, be honest about losses and mistakes and give traders the feeling of comfort will overcome obstacles and keep moving forward.

Another important lesson is to never push clients into something they are not ready for. What we do is at each soiree we organize, we have one booth set-up at the entrance where we introduce clients to forex trading. We are visible, but those who are interested come to us. This is always a much better start then spamming people on social media and give you a much personal approach. We have an honest presentation which is playing in the background of our booth, two of us ready to present and inform and take our time with everyone who is interested in forex trading.

We don’t push for deposits and always work at the pace of our clients. We do give them honest figures, how much they can earn per year and the risks involved. We always ask our clients what their goals are and then we analyze the data. We then tell them two different approaches so they know what it will take. The first one is how much capital they would need to reach their goal and we always work on an annualized basis. The second one is how much time it will take with their preferred starting capital.

I want to stress again that honesty is the most important attribute of a successful forex business. We are now an introducing broker for PaxForex which has been a great partnership from the start and we will host our 10th anniversary this fall. After honesty, a great forex broker is vital in order to deliver for your forex traders. We offer our clients a full service forex platform and after the development of our own forex strategy a great PAMM service. Clients who prefer to trade on their own can take advantage of our signal service and now we are developing our first automated forex trading robot. Revenues from our forex business are now higher than from our event planning service and I have been promoted to CEO of the forex part since it was my idea. It has been a great journey for me and I am looking for much greater things to come. PaxForex and the forex market have opened a great world for me and it can do the same for you. Just start with an honest approach and let it take you to places you never imagined possible!
